Hi, my name is Louis and I'm an independent pure Ruby-on-Rails recruiter. (http://www.linkedin.com/in/louisbeardsley)
I work with pretty much all the major UK teams of note (many on an exclusive basis) and I'm famous in the UK.
I'm pretty well known in Europe too.
I'm an expert in the UK market and I'm starting to give a regular speech to new Ruby devs being trained up at generalassemb.ly in London. I'm also scheduled to give a talk at the London Ruby User Group in June.
For my talk I propose giving a very interesting talk about the UK & EU Job markets. History of the Rails markets, status of Junior/Mid & Senior developers, comparison of situations in different countries. current status of remote working and how to deal with dodgy recruiters! It will contain valuable information for any Ruby developer at any stage of their career.
The talk will be 45 mins to 1 hour long.
Please be so kind to update your proposal in the following two aspects:
Please read and respect the rules and the event in general or we may have to withdraw your proposal without any further notice.
